LeanModel Start-up Competition

The LeanModel™ Competition is designed to assist and reward student based start-ups from California and Baja California's top four year universities. This competition will draw students from the local community within the state and provide them an opportunity to pitch their start-up to potential investors and compete for awards. A distinguished panel of serial entrepreneurs, angel investors, venture capitalists, C-Level executives will judge each team's business model.

Reality Show Competition

Have an idea, or building a prototype? Need some extra financing or visibility? Don't want to give up ownership? Create a 2-minute pitch and submit it to and enter into a competition that may change your life.

Cleantech Open

Cleantech Open is a not-for-profit organization that runs the world's largest accelerator for cleantech startups. Teams must have at least one U.S. resident and have less than $1,000,000 in funding.

UCCS Sports/Outdoors Business Plan Competition

Each applicant team must represent a U.S. based university, college, community college, or technical institute. Teams must be comprised such that at least 50% of the principals are currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students at the time of application.

Carnegie Mellon Venture Challenge

Formerly the Tepper Venture Challenge, the Carnegie Mellon Venture Challenge is an annual undergraduate business plan competition providing student entrepreneurs with the opportunity to receive feedback from experts in the entrepreneurial community, win monetary prizes, and acquire legal services that will help advance an idea to the next stage in the entrepreneurial process. Rice Business Plan Competition

Self-proclaimed "world's richest and largest" graduate-level business plan competition, the Rice Business Plan Competition is hosted by Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship. Open to graduate students enrolled in degree program. Prizes available surpassing $1,000,000.

California Dreamin' at Chapman

The California Dreamin' competition brings together students from top entrepreneurship programs. The is event is by invitation only. Schools selected to participate determine the team to compete.

AASU Entrepreneurial Ventures Competition

Conference and venture competition organized by the African-American Student Union at the Harvard Business School, focused on innovation and the African-American entrepreneur.
