Scott Abrams

Scott Abrams is an Associate Professor of Clinical Finance and Business Economics at the USC Marshall School of Business. He specializes in corporate finance, financial analysis and valuation, and portfolio management and teaches these subjects in both the graduate and undergraduate programs. Professor Abrams has taught in the Full-Time MBA, MBA.PM, MS in Finance, Undergraduate, Master of Business for Veterans (MBV), and Executive Education programs. He is a two-time winner of the Golden Apple Teaching Award for the Full-Time MBA Core Program (2016 and 2021), a winner of the Golden Apple Teaching Award for Undergraduate Electives (2023), and winner of the Golden Apple Teaching Award for Graduate Electives (2024). He has been recognized with other awards including the Evan C. Thompson Teaching & Learning Innovation Award (2024). In addition, he serves as the Academic Director for the Full-Time MBA Program.

Prior to joining the faculty at USC, Scott worked in the corporate finance groups at Sony Pictures and Warner Bros. where he focused on content valuation, capital budgeting, motion picture development, and strategic and financial planning. Scott began his career at Deloitte and is a CFA Charterholder and a licensed CPA.
