USC Marshall students are highly sought after by financial services firms across the globe. To support these students in reaching their full potential, the Hub’s programs, services, and resources primarily focus on Marshall and Leventhal undergraduate majors, Marshall/Viterbi Computer Science and Business Administration (CSBA) majors, students pursuing the Business Finance or Real Estate Finance minors, and Master of Finance Progressive Degree Program (PDP) students. By participating in our programs and leveraging a strong Trojan network of alumni, faculty, and employers, students can maximize their career opportunities. The more a student engages with our office’s programming and resources, the better positioned they are to achieve their post-graduation goals.

Handshake is our career services management portal that houses access to exclusive finance-related resources such as Wall Street Prep, an employer job/internship board, career events, and more.

Peer Career Advising (PCA)

The Finance Peer Career Advising program connects undergraduates with trained senior peer advisors who have successfully completed competitive Summer Analyst internships. PCAs provide insights and guidance on internship planning, technical preparation, interview practice, and more. There is no prerequisite to meet with a Finance PCA, and appointments can be requested through Handshake Appointments during the academic year (fall and spring semesters). Please note that Finance PCA appointments are on pause over the summer, and students seeking support during the summer are encouraged to explore other Hub resources and advising options.

As participants in USC career-related programs and recruiting activities, students are expected to uphold the Trojan Accountability Expectations. These guidelines outline standards of professionalism – including timely communication, honoring interviews and accepted offers, and maintaining integrity throughout the recruitment process.

Accepting an internship or full-time offer – whether verbal or written – is a professional commitment. After accepting, students are expected to withdraw from other recruiting processes. If extraordinary circumstances arise, students should consult a USC career advisor before taking action.

Mutual accountability matters – employers are also expected to honor their commitments to students.
