SCALE: The Future of Tech and Entertainment

An invitation-only audience packed Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica for the inaugural "SCALE: The Future of Tech and Entertainment," hosted by the Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies, USC Marshall School of Business, and the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. SCALE convened thought and business leaders in artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality, digital media, gaming and e-sports -- all industries anchored in or vital to Southern California. Disney's Robert Iger shared his thoughts on the future of entertainment  and the Star Wars sequels, and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti spoke about the importance of innovation and technology to the future of LA. Other speakers included Brandon Beck (Riot Games), Sarah Harden (Otter Media), Adam Cheyer (Siri and Viv Labs) and leaders from Meta, Google Tango, Magic Leap and Gensler.
