The USC Marshall Graduate Career Services team draws upon the experience of seasoned professionals in a wide range of industries and functions – including consulting, consumer packaged goods, financial services, investment banking, healthcare, human capital management, marketing, management, nonprofit, retail and supply chain operations. Students meet with career advisors and global sector leads (GSL) for individualized coaching and guidance on skill building, strategic career planning and employment negotiations to help target a job search strategy for specific positions or companies.

Appointments with advisors may be made directly online via the My Career Services Online Portal (MCSO).


Dennis Yu

Associate Director, Career Advising

Dennis Yu serves as the Associate Director of Career Advising for the Master of Science in Global Supply Chain program. He has 15+ years of functional experiences in business development, marketing and general management. Currently, he is responsible for career advising, coaching and training for on campus and online students in MS Global Supply Chain program.

Prior to USC, he was the VP of Strategy and Business Development for a technology company called which was later acquired by Walmart. He brings extensive industry experiences from Retail and Technology where he spent most of his career driving growth initiatives and building as well as coaching high performing team members. Dennis strives to bring out the best of each individuals and provide guidance through the lens of empathy and servant leadership.

Dennis graduated from USC Marshall Executive MBA program in 2017 and earned his BS in Economics from UC Irvine.

All career resources are uploaded to MCSO portal for 24/7 access. In addition, selected resources are also available in print format in the Career Services Center lobby, Popovich Hall 310.

Marshall’s career services team offers career education programs and workshops tailored to the specific needs of graduate students seeking career transition or advancement, to mid- and senior-level executives honing their skills in preparation for the C-suite.

Recruiting and Interviewing

Through a variety of recruiting activities and a strong Trojan network of alumni, faculty, and corporate partners, we successfully connect Marshall students with alumni and employers around the globe.

Many companies come on campus to interview.  Our interview facilities located in Popovich Hall 310 and our ability to provide concierge service to all employers ensures each company will have a smooth and productive day meeting candidates.  For long-distance recruiting, we make our interview rooms available to students and employers for phone and Skype interviews.
