Lesley G. Adams is the Career Strategist for the Master of Science in Finance program within Marshall’s Graduate Career Services team. She coaches MSF students on all aspects of their professional development – including resume writing and interviewing, job search strategy, social media presence, and much more -- to help them reach their career goals.
Lesley joins the Marshall team with a 20 year history of recruiting and coaching, including 15 years as Assistant Director of Graduate Career Management at Loyola Marymount University, where she coached and advised MBA, EMBA, and Specialty Masters students and alumni undergoing career transitions. During that time, she also oversaw the LMU MBA Alumni Association, including all of their seminars and networking events.
Prior to LMU, Lesley built and ran the corporate college relations program at Universal Studios, where she recruited the interns and MBA hires and facilitated the summer college program season. Her other positions include Human Resources and Recruiting within the non-profit, manufacturing, and engineering sectors, including two years with Habitat for Humanity, Los Angeles, where she roofed the 2nd floor of a home on a 26 home build.
Lesley received a Leadership Certificate in 2019 from LMU, a Human Resources Management Certificate from LMU in 2001, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the USC Dornsife School of Letters, Arts, and Sciences. She is a proud Trojan, and has been a volunteer leader for many years, serving on the USC Alumni Association Second Decade Society and on the Alumni Leadership Conference Planning Committee. Lesley is passionate about guiding individuals to their professional goals, and truly enjoys the process of assisting someone to find their calling.
In her spare time, you’ll find Lesley enjoying college football, wine tasting, taking walks on the beach, watching movies in a theater, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
