Zibin Xu is a Ph.D candidate in marketing. His research interest includes pricing strategies, communication strategies, consumer privacy, digital markets, and preference matching. In his research, he uses analytical models to examine the value of consumers' private information in a market with uninformed consumer preference.
Specifically, he examines the marketing strategies, such as personalized pricing, product line design and advertisement matching, when the firm collects consumer data in aggregate.
