Zachariah Berry studies morality at work, with a focus on how people think about moral values and navigate conflicts between them. Much of his work explores topics related to the good and bad of loyalty, the development of moral character, and diversity, equity, and inclusion within organizations. He is also interested in the experience and consequences of giving up on career pursuits. His research has been published in leading academic journals such as Organization Science, Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, Management Science, and Nature Human Behaviour among others. He has also authored several articles for Harvard Business Review. He received his PhD in organizational behavior from Cornell University, MA in psychology from the University of Chicago, and dual BA in psychology and philosophy from Bethel University.
