One-Year MBA

IBEAR

The One-Year MBA, also known as the International Business Education and Research (IBEAR) MBA, is an intensive, full-time program designed for mid-career professionals. This globally focused program offers an immersive experience in international business, culminating in a four-month consulting project. During this project, participants work closely with classmates, faculty, and clients to tackle real-world business challenges in today’s fast-changing global economy.

Each IBEAR MBA cohort typically includes around 55 professionals representing 12 to 15 countries. Participants are, on average, 36 years old with 12 years of professional experience, and 80% fall within the 32 to 40 age range. About one-third of the class is sponsored by employers or family businesses, while the rest are self-funded. Since its launch in 1978, the program has built a network of more than 2,100 alumni across 60 countries.

The IBEAR MBA curriculum, which is STEM-certified, provides numerous opportunitiesfor each student to personalize their academic experience. It offers multiple paths andoptions that can be tailored to individual professional outcomes as well as numerouscertificates in specializations as diverse as Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship,Technology Commercialization — to name a few.

Executive Leadership Development Programs

The International Experiential Learning Program (IELP) is a 10-day overseas trip tocultural and economic centers and is designed to provide participants with a deepunderstanding of business practices, conditions, and opportunities in a global context.The Domestic Experiential Learning Program (DELP) consists of alumni meet-ups andcareer treks to local and other U.S. destinations. Through a combination of industry-specific roundtables, company visits, networking event, students gain insight in doingbusiness in the U.S. as well as a range of career paths.
