Leadership Forums and Summits
The Institute for Communication Technology Management (CTM) works with a number of other organizations within and external to USC in order to provide forums for sharing and discovery around topics that serve to provide a better understanding of how technology and our digitally networks world is changing the way we live and work. Examples of these events include the Big Data Summit held in conjunction with Variety and PriceWanterhouse and the Evolution of Entertainment Conference held in conjunction with the Business of Entertainment. These events serve to provide exceptional educational and networking opportunities for our sponsors and participants in the event.
CTM also serves as a focal point between the business community and the resources of the Marshall School of Business. In conjunction with its member companies, CTM has hosted student challenges where companies pose a business problem to students and student compete as individual or teams to find potential solutions. CTM also serves its member companies by acting as a liaison that serves to link companies with business research needs and faculty researchers active in that space. In addition, CTM has also acted to identify corporate issues that can be incorporated into classroom exercise which serve to stimulate non-linear corporate thinking while also exposing students to contemporary business issues.
