Master of Science in Global Supply Chain Management

1) Who should apply to the program?
You should apply to the program if you are looking to learn the necessary skills and knowledge to become experts in the area of supply chain management and thus advance your career. Our online program is designed for working professionals with at least 3 years work experience. Our on-campus program is designed for recent graduates or people with a couple years of work experience.

2) How often do you admit to the program?
We offer admission for the fall semester only.

3) Can I take courses at my own pace?
No, this is a lock step-program with students taking courses in the cohort model.

4) I have less than the recommended work experience, can I still apply?
Yes, you may still apply for the program. We may recommend that you apply for the on-campus program, but if you are interested in the online program we will review your application as requested.

5) For the online program are there required meetings?
Your class will have a set time that it is broadcast. You can opt to view the course at that time or watch it at later date. You will have assignments, group projects, midterms and final examinations that you must complete.

6) Does the online program require any on-campus sessions?
Yes, the orientation in August, and the two Experiential Learning Trips are all mandatory.

7) Can the application fee be waived?
Unfortunately we cannot provide any waivers for the application fee.

*USC alumni and USC employees are eligible for an application fee waiver. If you are eligible for a fee waiver, you will be able to request the waiver when you submit the application. Unfortunately, we cannot waive the application fee due to financial hardship.

8) Can coursework from another school be transferred in?
Coursework used toward a degree completed elsewhere may not be applied toward a master's degree at USC and may not be repeated at USC. If courses were not used toward a completed degree, four program-related units may be applied, subject to approval by the program director.

Up to 4 units of program-related graduate-level coursework applied to a master's degree previously completed at USC may be applied to the MSGSCM, subject to approval by the program director. USC coursework taken prior to matriculation to a current USC degree program must have been completed within seven years of admission.

9) How can I pay for this program?
