Online Mock Class

Please join the USC Marshall School of Business and Professor Bala Subramanian for a simulated online class on “Game Changing Supply Chain Trends?” for the Master of Science in Global Supply Chain Management Program. 

Professor Subramanian’s teaching approach is informed by 25+ years of developing winning strategies by applying analytics steeped in customer understanding. He is President of NuEdge Consulting in Santa Monica, CA providing strategy advice to varied retail, travel, service, non-profit organizations Fortune 100 to startup. Previously, he was VP of Customer Analytics at Wal-mart from 2011-2014 optimizing Membership/ Merchandising/ Marketing strategy to grow $60 billion club business. From 1999-2010, he was SVP of Global Distribution Services evolving several industry dominating brands for Hilton hotels, and building sustained marketing leverage through the digital transformation of customer conversations. Bala has an MBA from University of Minnesota, and BTech from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.

This event will provide attendees with insight into the program objectives, classroom dynamics and expectation. It will provide attendees an understanding and experience on what it is like to take a graduate level online class in our program. We will also provide a quick overview of the master’s program, application requirements,  and admissions process at the start of the class.

Alumni Talk

Please join the USC Marshall School of Business and Sam Ganguly, Global Supply Chain Manager from Tesla on our "Alumni Talk" event. This event will provide attendees insight on how the Master's degree can advance your career and enhance your skillset in the supply chain industry. A quick overview of the master’s program, application requirements, and admissions process will also be provided at the start of the class.

Sam Ganguly oversees segments of Global Logistics Procurement for Tesla, Inc (2+ years) spanning North America, APAC, EU. Experienced Chief Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the Supply Chain & Transportation / Maritime industry (10+ years) with Maersk Line. Skilled in Operations Management, Transport Procurement, Supply Chain, Ocean Transportation, Logistics Sourcing, Port Management, and International Shipping.
