All graduate students must submit official academic transcripts from every college or university attended, including proof of degree completion. USC must receive official documents before you can enroll.
Official Transcripts
Your transcript must:
- List all courses taken
- Show grades earned
- Display your degree awarded and conferral date (if applicable)

International Students
- If you studied outside the U.S., follow USC’s country-specific requirements for the correct type of transcript or certificate needed.
- If you earned any of your post-secondary degrees outside the United States, USC requires an official degree verification through the International Education Research Foundation (IERF). This is a mandatory enrollment step. Follow these steps:
– Visit the IERF website to review their document requirements, processing times, and fees.
– Submit your materials directly to IERF following their instructions.
– IERF will send your completed verification report directly to USC—you do not need to upload it yourself.
