William "Billy" Grieser is a visiting associate professor in Finance and Business Economics at the USC Marshall School of Business. Billy's research explores network economics, corporate investments, financial constraints, panel data econometrics, industrial organization, spatial econometrics, and agglomeration economies. His work has been published in esteemed journals including the Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Review of Accounting Studies, and the Journal of Corporate Finance.
Billy earned a BS in Mathematics and BBA in Finance from Texas State University, and a Ph.D. in Finance from Michigan State University while also visiting the University of Texas at Austin. He is the recipient of numerous teaching awards across multiple universities, recognized for excellence in courses such as investments, money and banking, and business finance.
