Samuel Herbert Perlmutter

  • Adjunct Professor of Accounting

Professor Herb Perlmutter retired from Deloitte in 2019 after 41 years, including 31 years as a partner. During that time, he served as lead audit partner for clients in the technology, life sciences and consumer products industries. Professor Perlmutter also served as the Partner-in-Charge of Deloitte’s Pacific Southwest Audit Practice, which encompassed the offices in Southern California, Nevada and Arizona. Professor Perlmutter received the Leventhal School’s 2007 Distinguished Alumnae Award, and serves on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer of A Better L.A.
