Originally from Upstate New York, I attended BYU and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Although I was accepted into BYU’s MAcc program, I ultimately decided to attend USC so that I could continue to expand my network and gain a fresh perspective in a more diverse environment. I have been extremely pleased with my USC experience and the general friendliness of the other students from Leventhal and Marshall. The students and faculty are very laid back and open to meeting new people, which is probably where the legendary Trojan family gets started. After graduation, I will begin my career with PwC’s assurance practice in their Dallas office. I’ve also considered returning to school in a few years to pursue a PhD in accounting, but I’m still exploring options and waiting to see where life takes me.
