Juan Gonzalez

Juan Gonzalez instructs MBA and Undergraduate real estate finance and investment courses at USC Marshall School of Business. Juan is also an independent real estate investor and consultant in Los Angeles and Mexico. He is currently developing a recently acquired adaptive reuse commercial real estate project in Central LA. His experience includes Managing Director at 7 Bridges Capital Partners, a U.S. based Latin America focused real estate investment platform backed by U.S. institutional capital between 2015 and 2021, as well as multiple investment and lending roles in real estate debt and equity vehicles in Mexico between 2006 and 2015. Juan started his career as financial analyst assessing securitization and real estate finance vehicles for Mexico's central bank. He also taught economics and statistics at Loyola Marymount University, venture management and economics at the School of Management at California Lutheran University, as well as international banking at ITAM in Mexico City. 

Juan received a Full Time MBA from UCLA Anderson (2004) and Bachelor´s degree in Economics from Universidad de las Américas – Puebla (2000). He is also an active short-distance triathlete (member of Mexico’s National Team for his age group World Championships in 2014 and 2015, classified and raced in U.S. Nationals in 2024).
