Jack Crawford

  • Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship

When it comes to the inner workings of an entrepreneur’s mind, Jack Crawford has seen it all. A Founding General Partner at CerraCap Impact Venture Capital, a board member of a NASDAQ-listed public company, and a recognized leader within the Kauffman Fellows network, Jack has spent decades at the forefront of fast-growing technology startups and global investing. His career spans deep involvement with early-stage founders, scaled operators, and institutional investors across multiple cycles of innovation and growth.

Previously, Jack served as a board member and founded the Accelerator Program for the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, giving him rare, firsthand access to some of the world’s most successful CEOs through candid, one-on-one conversations about leadership, decision-making, and life beyond the boardroom. He is also the founder of Sacramento Venture Philanthropy, where he has worked alongside hundreds of nonprofit leaders dedicated to creating meaningful social impact. As a regular guest lecturer at the University of Southern California, Jack shares practical frameworks on strategic planning for life with college students preparing to lead across industries. Extending this mission even earlier, he co-founded the Entrepreneurs Club, introducing life-planning tools and entrepreneurial thinking to middle- and high-school students.

Jack lives in California with his wife and three children. Together, they enjoy swimming, biking, running, skiing, pickleball, and golf, along with professional sports, theater, and long family dinners that often spark the next startup idea or the next bold move in life.
