USC Marshall Welcomes 21 New Faculty
These faculty bring their varied expertise into the classroom, with a mix of academia, research, and real-world experience.
Inge Lindholm is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Data Sciences and Operations at the USC Marshall School of Business. With expertise at the intersection of digital innovation, platform strategy, and sustainability, she teaches graduate and undergraduate courses that prepare students to lead in technology-driven business environments. Prior to joining the full-time faculty, she served as an Adjunct Professor at Marshall, where she helped shape curriculum and applied instruction in emerging technology strategy.
Professor Lindholm brings more than a decade of entrepreneurial experience as a multi-venture founder within Southern California’s Silicon Beach ecosystem, where she built and scaled digital-first organizations. A decorated U.S. military veteran, she draws upon her background in leadership and strategic operations to guide students through real-world innovation challenges. Her teaching is known for its creativity, relevance, and commitment to developing student agency to prepare them for industry roles outside academia.
Beyond academia, Professor Lindholm has advised and mentored numerous early-stage startups, supporting founders in navigating complex ecosystems and shaping scalable solutions. She is driven by a deep belief in the transformative power of innovation and inspired by the people behind it—whether students, entrepreneurs, or change-makers.
She holds a Master of Science in Integrated Design, Business and Technology from the USC Iovine and Young Academy, and a B.B.A. from the University of Georgia. Her research explores how digital ecosystems can embed responsible innovation from the outset, particularly in early-stage startups. Professor Lindholm is also a Marshall Leadership Fellow for the 2024–2025 academic year.
