Ben King, J.D., M.B.A, is a highly accomplished C-Suite growth company executive, entrepreneur, venture investor, strategic advisor, and clinical academic. He is an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at USC’s Lloyd Grief Center for Entrepreneurial Studies and Marshall Business School. Currently, he teaches Technology Entrepreneurship. Ben also served for several years as adjunct faculty at the Henry Samueli School of Engineering & Computer Science at UCLA, teaching technology management courses in entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and business law. His academic expertise and focus include technology commercialization, entrepreneurship, finance, and business law. He has published refereed journal articles, including in the Columbia Business Law Review and the Cass-CAPCO Institute Journal of Financial Transformation, on capital access/formation and the related complex regulatory frameworks.
Ben is a proven business leader and advisor with deep cross-functional expertise in strategy, finance, M&A transactions, investment, corporate/business development, and operations across vertical SaaS, cybersecurity, networking, national security/defense tech, digital media, and marketing analytics verticals. He is best known as an executive change agent that transforms earlier stage technology companies into sustainably scaling, exit-ready enterprises and possesses a prolific track record growing and optimizing companies (4 M&A exits). He also is a 3-time founder. His successful company-building experiences include portfolio companies backed/owned by top-tier investors such as Bessemer Venture Partners, Vista Equity Partners, and Warburg Pincus.
Ben presently serves as the Founder & Managing Partner of Glyndon Advisors LLC, a firm specializing in strategic advisory services, technology commercialization, fractional C-suite roles, BoD membership/advisory, and venture investments. He is highly active in the SoCal tech ecosystem and a sought-after public speaker.
Ben received his J.D. and M.B.A. concurrently from UCLA Law School (Law Review editor) and the Anderson School at UCLA (Dean’s list) in 2002. He also holds a B.A. in History from Yale University with Distinction.
