Why did you choose Marshall?
It was because of three reasons.
1. Two of my closest friends from my undergraduate school are now Trojans. I had the opportunity to visit the campus while they were students and fell in love with it.
2. USC Marshall invests a lot in us. Be it in the form of lifetime career services, Alumni mentorship, or PRIME. I really appreciated Marshall's commitment to its students.
3. My wife and I wanted to continue living in LA. If you spend anytime in LA, you will come across USC on a car bumper, hoodie, cap or t-shirt. So USC Marshall was a no-brainer.

What has been your favorite USC Marshall experience?
Deloitte Case Competitions. It was hectic but fun.

What do you wish you'd known before attending business school?
Business school is a lot of work. All of it can be hard on your personal relationships. Take out some time every once in a while to tend to them as well.

How is Marshall helping you accomplish your goals?
One of my goals before coming to Marshall was to develop my leadership abilities. Through club leadership and through the Marshall Leadership Fellows Program, Marshall community has given me the sandbox to hone my leadership skills. Additionally, the faculty puts in a lot of thought and effort to make sure that core classes are complimentary. In practice it means that each course gives me a different perspective on a similar business problem. This approach has helped me build a holistic perspective.
