Why did you choose Marshall?
The Trojan Family. Marshall's community connected with me the most through my conversations and interactions with students and at Admit Day. That bond still holds true today; I've made lifelong friends in the few months that we've been in the program. But also, I'm a California kid and the west coast is the best coast.
What has been your favorite USC Marshall experience?
I can't say enough about the people. The past few months have been incredibly fast-paced, but everyone is so supportive in each others' professional and personal ambitions. We celebrate other's successes and pick each other up when we're feeling down. We've had case competitions where I've been working with people for 12 hours and still want to hangout with them after.
What do you wish you'd known before attending business school?
How busy the MBA is between recruiting, networking, and school! Recruiting has been challenging, but incredibly rewarding and fun. I also feel like I've grown more in the last 3 months than in the last 12.
How is Marshall helping you accomplish your goals?
I've primarily been involved in the Marshall Consulting & Strategy Club (MCSC) this semester because of consulting, but the club has been awesome and supportive. Everyone is really collaborative and helpful with the consulting prep. There's also a ton of other resources within career services, not to mention alumni connections!
