Animesh Balakrishnan

Animesh Balakrishnan is currently pursuing his B.S. in Business Administration with a double minor in Economics and Mathematical Finance at the USC Marshall School of Business. While at USC, Animesh has been a part of the Trojan Investing Society and the Trojan Business Alliance. Animesh plans to pursue a career in the investment banking and financial services industry. Animesh has interned as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Rothschild Global Financial Advisory. He has also worked as a Summer Analyst at ICICI Ventures, a Mumbai-based specialist alternative assets manager providing private equity and retail finance solutions. He is looking forward to working in Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Investment Banking division in Los Angeles this summer. Originally from Mumbai, Animesh is extremely passionate about soccer and is a big Manchester United fan. He also enjoys cooking, playing squash and golf.

Kevin Bernstein

Kevin Bernstein is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration at the USC Marshall School of Business. As an undergraduate, Kevin has been Vice President of Moneythink, Alumni & Parent Relations Director at the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity, Director of Education at TAMID Consulting Group, and a member of the Trojan Investment Society’s Leaders Program. Kevin’s summer internship experience includes working as an analyst at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and as an underwriter within the Financial Institutions Group at AIG.  Kevin is looking forward to working as a Technology Investment Banking Analyst at RBC Capital Management in San Francisco this summer. Originally from Seattle, Kevin enjoys playing lacrosse, watching football, and traveling the world.

Lindsay Carrigan

Lindsay Carrigan is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration at the USC Marshall School of Business with a minor in Spanish through the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. While at USC, Lindsay has served as a mentor for both the Joint Education Program and USC Moneythink, tutoring 4th and 5th graders in Spanish and English, as well as teaching graduating high school seniors lessons in personal finance. Lindsay is looking forward to interning in the financial division of a non-profit in Madrid through the USC Winslow Maxwell Summer Internship Program. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys cooking (and eating), hiking, travelling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Jorge Castello

Jorge Castello is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration at the USC Marshall School of Business and a Minor in East Asian Languages and Cultures at the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. While at USC, Jorge has served as the Co-President of the Trojan Investing Society, the Treasurer of the Blackstonians Pre Law Honor Society, and the Scholarship Chair of Sigma Nu Fraternity. Jorge is also a teaching assistant and research student within the Finance and Business Economics Department at Marshall. Last summer, Jorge interned at Deutsche Bank in the Technology Investment Banking Group in San Francisco and will be returning there this upcoming summer. In his free time, Jorge enjoys physical fitness, reading books about art and poetry, and spending time with friends and family.

Herman Chui

Herman Chui is currently pursuing his B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in finance at the USC Marshall School of Business. While at USC, he has been involved in Alpha Kappa Psi, the largest and oldest professional business fraternity, as well as the Alpha Zeta Investment Club. Herman has previously interned at King & Wood Mallesons in the securities department and at Essex Mortgage as a Financial Services Intern. He is excited to intern at Doubleline Capital in the Global Infrastructure group this summer. Originally from Beijing, Herman enjoys skiing, poker, and powerlifting.

Kevin Conde

Kevin Conde is currently pursuing his B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and a minor in Real Estate Development. While at USC, Kevin has served as a managing director of the Value Investing Group and had the opportunity to represent USC on the team that won third place at the Michigan Investment Conference. He served as the Financial Director of the National Organization for Business and Engineering and led their consulting team which aided Local Roots Farms, an LA sustainable farming startup. Last summer, he interned with Seaview Investors, a hotel development and management company focusing on value add opportunities and adaptive reuse. He is looking forward to interning at Evercore’s investment banking division in Menlo Park this summer. Originally from Newport Beach, California, Kevin enjoys playing tennis and basketball with friends, reading thought provoking books and websites like Farnam Street, and following the stock market.

Yehudah Judah

Yehudah Judah is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration at the Marshall School of Business. With both parents as financial advisors, he grew up with a passion for investing. Yehudah has worked part-time in the hedge fund industry for over two years. He currently works as an equity research analyst at a value-oriented hedge fund, and raises capital for another long/short equity fund. While at USC, Yehudah has been involved in the Value Investing Group, which competes in national stock pitch competitions. Yehudah enjoys researching undervalued stocks. In 2013, he volunteered for a year full-time at a non-profit in Mexico City, Mexico, where he also learned to speak Spanish fluently.

Talia Jurkowitz

Talia Jurkowitz is currently pursuing her B.S. in Business Administration at the USC Marshall School of Business. While at USC, Talia has served as student ambassador of the Student Alumni Association’s Society 53 and as member and mentor of the Trojan Investing Society. Talia has also spent the majority of her semesters volunteering with USC’s Joint Educational Project. Talia interned with Centerview Partners New York this past summer and will be returning full-time upon graduation in 2018. Born and raised in Greenwich, CT, Talia enjoys running marathons, hiking, and spending time outdoors.

Mallika Kapur

Mallika Kapur is currently pursuing her B.S. in Economics and Mathematics at the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences with a minor in Business Finance at the Marshall School of Business. While at USC, Mallika has served as President of the Value Investing Group, which was her main introduction to finance. She is also actively involved in Marshall Women’s Leadership Board and was previously involved in the USC Hult Prize Organization, a yearly social entrepreneurship competition. Her interest in understanding how a business runs and curiosity about different industries led her to intern in a variety of different fields. Her experiences range from Cuff Inc., a wearable technology startup, to venture capital at JUMP Investors, and most recently a Technology Project Management Intern at Juniper Networks. Mallika is looking forward to interning at Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division in San Francisco this summer. In her free time, Mallika enjoys exploring the LA food scene, playing tennis, and road tripping with family and friends.

Ke Li

Ke Li is currently pursuing a B.S. in Accounting at the USC Leventhal School of Accounting and a B.S. in Business Administration at the Marshall School of Business. At USC, Ke is actively involved in Beta Alpha Psi, an honorary organization for accounting students, where she had the opportunity to volunteer in the Junior Achievement program. Ke's past work experience includes audit intern at Deloitte, Los Angeles, finance coordinator at COPE Health Solutions, and manager of an online fashion boutique. Ke is an enthusiastic art lover and enjoys exploring museums and art galleries in Los Angeles. She also likes road trips and visiting national parks.

Bhavik Patel

Bhavik Patel is currently pursuing a B.S in Business Administration at the USC Marshall School of Business and a minor in Psychology at the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. While at USC, Bhavik has served as the Managing Director of the USC Value Investing Group and has been involved with Trojan Knights, the official hosts of the University of Southern California.  Regarding work experience, he was a summer analyst for Architects Partners in Palo Alto and is looking forward to interning in Piper Jaffray’s Investment Banking Division this summer. Grant Roski Amendola

Grant Roski Amendola is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration at the USC Marshall School of Business. While at USC, Grant has been involved in the Trojan Investing Society, serving on the executive board as the Director of the Leaders Program and as the Director of Mentorship. He is also a member of Society 53, an organization responsible for programming and events that bring students and alumni together. Grant previously interned at Houlihan Lokey is looking forward to working in Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking division this summer as a generalist. In his free time, Grant enjoys playing club volleyball, watching basketball and hockey, traveling, skiing, snowboarding and scuba diving.

Travis Schwartz

Travis Schwartz is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration as a Trustee Scholar at the Marshall School of Business. While at USC, Travis has served as Networking Chair for Alpha Epsilon Delta, the premedical honor society, as well as Treasurer for the Trojans Ice Hockey team. Travis is also a member of Trojan Investing Society’s Leaders Program and Beta Theta Pi. Travis is looking forward to interning in FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance TMT group in Los Angeles this summer. His previous experiences include interning at UBS in the wealth management division and working as a summer research analyst for the Society of Cardiothoracic surgeons.

Samson Soon

Samson Soon is a currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration at the Marshall School of Business and a B.S. in Accounting at the Leventhal School of Accounting. Prior to enrolling into USC, he served as a lieutenant in the 1st Commando Battalion in the Singapore Armed Forces. While at USC, Samson has been involved in Moneythink, the Trojan Investing Society and InterVarsity Trojan Christian Fellowship (IVTCF), serving as the president, chief operating officer and administrator of these clubs, respectively. He is looking forward to interning with Lazard’s healthcare team in San Francisco this summer. His hobbies include baseball, weight lifting and chatting with friends over meals. As a true Singaporean, he strongly believes that eating is a sport.

Spencer Wix

Spencer Wix is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration at the USC Marshall School of Business. While at USC, Spencer has served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Trojan Investing Society, the largest undergraduate finance organization at USC. In addition, Spencer founded SC Venture Capital, USC’s leading private markets investment organization. He is looking forward to interning in Barclays’ investment banking division with the financial sponsors group this summer. Spencer has completed previous internships with Provident Healthcare Partners, an investment bank focused on healthcare services sell-side M&A advisory, the USC Investment Office, and Troy Capital Partners, a recently established venture and strategic opportunities fund investing in emerging companies primarily in Southern California.

Garrett Yung

Garrett Yung is currently pursuing his B.S in Accounting at the USC Leventhal School of Accounting and a minor in Computer Science through Viterbi School of Engineering. While at USC, he has served as the Vice President of Membership and Student Advisor for Beta Alpha Psi, an honor organization for accounting, finance, and information systems. He is also involved in Circle K, a service organization. He is looking forward to interning at Ernst and Young in the Risk Advisory practice in San Francisco this summer. He has previously interned at Emerson Rosemount Analytical in the information technology department in Irvine. After graduation, he hopes to complete his CPA and continue his education for a Master’s degree. Originally from San Bernardino, Garrett enjoys playing badminton, pool, snowboarding, and exploring the city for food.
