Sushant grew up in India and graduated from Birla Institute of Technology in 2016 with a degree in Electronics Engineering. Post that, he began his career in Semiconductor Engineering in various Design Engineering roles across Digital Networking, Automotive, PC, Cloud Computing and IoT product segment. Most recently, he was in Product Engineering role at Intel India. He is also a fervent Value Investor with significant experience investing across Indian and US equities markets. Sushant is currently pursuing his CFA Level III and intends to pivot into Investment Management post his MBA. This summer, he will be working at Credit Suisse as an Investment Banking Summer Associate within their Technology group in San Francisco, CA. In his spare time, Sushant enjoys Motorsports (both design and racing), Table tennis, and hunting for deep value around the globe.
Sara Li graduated from California State University of Long Beach in 2017 with a B.S. in Business Administration concentrating in Accounting. Prior to attending USC Marshall, she worked as a financial statement auditor and M&A advisor for both regional and national public accounting firms. In her first year working in a public accounting firm, she also passed all four parts of the CPA exam. Currently, she is studying abroad at the National University of Singapore as an exchange student. This summer, she will be working for Piper Sandler as an investment banking summer associate. Outside of work, she loves to travel, watch movies, and spend time with her dog.
Michael McGuire graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2017 with a B.S. in Finance. Since then, he began working on a funding and derivatives trading desk for U.S. Bank's Corporate Treasury at its Minneapolis headquarters. After spending several years braving, the blistering cold of the Midwest, this native to Hawaii made plans to move back to warmer climates, concurrently with his aspirations to pursue a graduate education. At the Marshall School of Business, he hopes to continue evaluating the relationships between industry practice and academic theory. During his spare time, Michael has begun pursuing a professional career in bodybuilding and enjoys acquiring what he considers to be impractical yet fulfilling certifications in personal training, freediving, and scuba specializations.
Megan Medacco graduated from the University of Southern California in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Pure Mathematics. Prior to pursuing her MBA at USC Marshall, she worked in Retail Operations, Franchise Consulting and Software Technology Project Management. This summer, she will be working at Barclays as an Investment Banking Summer Associate within their Technology group in Menlo Park, CA. Megan enjoys reading about market trends, learning about investment theses and making personal equity investments. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, skiing, golfing, and CrossFit.
