Marshall Fixed Income Fund (MFF) Portfolio Managers
Kristen Dales graduated from American University with a B.S. in Business Administration. Prior to attending USC Marshall, she was a business analyst at Navy Federal Credit Union outside of Washington, D.C. where she primarily worked with the consumer lending division. Kristen was responsible for examining the risk and profitability of the lending portfolio including credit cards, auto loans, and personal loans. Before working in the consumer lending division, she was a member of the card fraud prevention team identifying trends and developing response strategies. After business school, Kristen plans a career in investment management. In her free time, she enjoys visiting art museums, exploring Los Angeles, and traveling with friends.
Pav Devgun completed his undergraduate studies at Aston Business School, achieving a First Class Honors degree in Management and Strategy. Prior to attending USC Marshall, Pav worked as a Corporate Credit Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where his team underwrote debt financing for Global Corporate & Investment Banking clients. This summer, he will intern in the Financial Restructuring Group at Houlihan Lokey. In his spare time, Pav enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, and watching Manchester United.
John Park graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a B.A. in Business Economics. Prior to attending USC Marshall, he worked as a credit analyst at Wedbush Securities in Los Angeles, where he managed portfolio margin accounts and assisted in municipal bond underwritings. John will be joining Amgen for his summer 2017 internship in the Finance & Strategy Leadership Development Program. In his free time, John enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
Owen Toolson graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Accounting and a MAcc (Master of Accountancy). Prior to USC Marshall, Owen worked at PwC where he was a senior associate in the firm’s audit practice and served clients in the asset management industry. While at PwC, Owen led a team through the first-year audits of 20 oil and gas focused hedge funds with total net assets in excess of $10B. This summer, Owen will be interning in the leveraged finance group within the investment banking division of Wells Fargo. After USC Marshall, Owen intends to pursue a career in investment banking. In his spare time, Owen enjoys watching sports, dining out, and community involvement.
