MS.FIL Alumni Profile: Lori Brown

Lori Brown started her retail career at Fred Meyer, learning the grocery business from the ground up and managing several stores along the way. A native of the Pacific Northwest, she is now Regional Vice President at Post Consumer Brands.

Lori Brown started her retail career at Fred Meyer, learning the grocery business from the ground up and managing several stores along the way. A native of the Pacific Northwest, she is now Regional Vice President at Post Consumer Brands. She also serves on several boards and education foundations and was recently named President of the Pacific Harbors Council, Boy Scouts of America.

Featured in USC Marshall's Executive Learnings, Lori enjoys talking about what drew her to the MS Food Industry Leadership program and what she has learned as a student at USC. Lori recently graduated from the MS.FIL program and received recognition for her research on Rosie-Building a Digital Future for Independent Grocers which she presented with her teammates to USC faculty, students, and industry professionals at the Inaugural Capstone Presentations event hosted by the MS.FIL program in the fall of 2020.

She has two grown sons and currently lives in Gig Harbor with her husband and dog Enzo.
