Over the course of four days, students will consider core topics such as healthcare, economic issues, democracy, and elections. As AI is an emerging force with the potential to impact all areas of society, student participants will also consider essential questions focused on AI and ethical application.
“It’s critical to engage young leaders in dialogue about the democratization of AI,” says Nathanael Fast, director of the Neely Center. “Their voices can shape collective governance to ensure AI development and application aligns with ethical standards, social good, and inclusive progress for all.”
The Neely Center’s mission is to guide leaders and engage society in making responsible and ethical decisions surrounding the development, implementation, and management of emerging technologies such as social media, AI, and mixed reality (AR/VR). Through cutting-edge research, comprehensive education, and cross-disciplinary dialogue, the Neely Center works to ensure technological advancements deliver both immediate and enduring societal benefits.
