Started in the academic research field, he has comprehensive experience serving major universities from University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center to Duke University, providing scientific expertise solutions to drug discovery and development against cancer. He started working in a multinational corporation biotech headquartered in New Jersey as an associate director, where he conducted clinical trials for LianBio (NASDAQ: LIAN) with a focus on biomarker and companion diagnostics strategies. Meng worked in Sanofi, managing local operations teams of the cardiovascular department. She also worked in Deloitte as a Senior Consultant conducting financial due diligence for different clients across various industries. Meng later joined Merck as Senior Financial Planning and Analyst, managing the annual budget for the China Human Health division, including identifying areas for cost and profitability optimization, monitoring financial performance against budget, and reporting variances. She started her career in a junior operations position and had taken a leading role in the operation department for over 4 years. Because of her diverse experience and communication skills, Rebecca was sent to offices in Australia and USA to develop business with China. Yu joins the IBEAR MBA with 15 years of experience in the financial and fintech industry. She started with Huaxia Bank. She has a wide range and first-hand experience in all banking operations: risk modeling and management, compliance of Basel Accords, asset-backed securities, and online payments and loans. She led the digital transformation at Huaxia Bank, invented and launched its first online loan product, and scaled it to over $7.4 Billion. She co-founded Huaxia Bank’s fintech subsidiary and launched its Big Data Center. She holds 4 software copyrights in data mining algorithms from China’s National Copyright Administration. She led her team to generate over $6 Million in revenue last year and fostered innovative projects which gained several national-ranked awards. Toru Natsuki has 12 years of experience at Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central) that operates the Tokaido Shinkansen (Bullet Train), the main transportation artery linking Japan’s principal metropolitan areas of Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. He served as a manager in Passenger Network Management, planning the passenger network routes and managing sales of the routes. He also contributes to Korean Air’s continuous growth by coordinating the airline’s fleet operation and route development strategy with different business divisions in Korean Air. Most recently, he supervised general issues with the projects related to Korean Air’s acquisition of Asiana Airlines. Jungwan holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Seoul National University. Upon completion of the IBEAR MBA program, Jungwan will continue his career as a leader of Korean Air.
Seulye Park joins the IBEAR MBA with over 10 years of experience in human resources management. Serving as a business partner to the casino executive team, Seulye drove strategic HR initiatives for organization design and restructuring, implemented and enhanced HR policies and procedures, developed employee learning and coaching programs, and ensured regulatory compliance to reduce legal risks. Previously, Seulye worked as HR Manager at Lucky Lady Casino, where she successfully managed the transition of 350 employees after the business acquisition of Normandie Casino and spearheaded employee relearning and retraining. Seulye holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul, South Korea, and HR certifications from Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). Rodrigo Gil joins the IBEAR MBA Program with 14 years of experience mainly in the health industry in Mexico, first in retail in one of the most important pharmacy chains in the country, “Farmacias Benavides”, a member of Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc., and later in the manufacturing industry as the CFO of “Laboratorios Ultra”, which is a family company founded 20 years ago and now ranked as one the top 3 generics laboratories in Mexico. He served in different leadership roles in finance, marketing, IT, and HR departments. Rodrigo also developed relevant projects such as SAP implementation and Loyalty Program deployment for retail. He is known as a result-oriented leader and he holds B.S. and M.S. in International Finance and Marketing from Universidad de Monterrey. Upon the completion of the IBEAR MBA Program, Rodrigo plans to continue developing his career in the strategic planning leading roles for the retail industry.
Hector has 12 years of experience in corporate finance and financial services. He started working at Deloitte as a consultant, where he conducted business valuations for retail companies, due diligence for a venture mining equipment company, with a focus on specific market analysis. Hector worked ten years at Ferreycorp Group, one of the biggest Caterpillar, Inc. dealers in Latin America, where he started as a Coordinator in Management Control of Ferreyros before moving to a financial advisor position. Hector worked alongside the CFOs of six companies of the group, developing strategic plans based on financial analysis. He was selected as the financial lead in corporate financial analysis with multinational, cross-functional team, and Caterpillar. He received his degree in Administration and Finance from the Peruvian University of Applied Science (UPC). Upon completing the IBEAR MBA Program, Hector aims for managerial roles in tech companies and to lead large teams.
Pei-Chen Chang joins the IBEAR MBA Program with 7 years of experience in the textile industry, having had responsibilities ranging from integrated product development to product lifecycle management. Her experience includes operation optimization, cross-functional communication, international collaboration and negotiation. While at Eclat, a Taiwan-based multinational textile producer of athletic apparel, she led the team to recycle the inventory to produce future products, reducing 90% inventory and growing 5% profitability within three months. As the youngest senior Merchandiser, she directed, on behalf of the Windeson’s CEO, the one million-unit-product orders per year for Costco and Walmart. She collaborated with affiliated factories in China, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Philippines to deliver orders. Pei-Chen holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Soochow University. Upon completing the IBEAR MBA Program, Pei-Chen intends to pursue a service operation consulting/supply chain career for international dessert brands to optimize operations for a better dessert-dining experience.
Chun-Hao (Larry) Chen joins the IBEAR MBA Program with 7 years of experience in accounting, business strategies, and management. He started as an auditor and moved to tax consulting and business planning. He has a CPA license in both America and Taiwan and is also a CFA Level II candidate. With his background he used a financial analytical approach to evaluate and execute business expansion for an entertainment company. He helped establish more than ten offices in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, and Taiwan. He led a team to oversee the business performance and operation of more than 80 physical and online concerts, drawing over 1M people to the events. He founded a company to help clients with finance and tax planning and negotiate with the National Taxation Bureau. He received a B.A. in Accounting from Soochow University. Upon completing the IBEAR MBA Program, Chun-Hao plans to pursue a master’s degree in Computer Science in the U.S.
Shih-Jung Chien joins the IBEAR MBA Program with 7 years of experience in the consumer goods industry. As a Key Account Manager, Shih-Jung handled the clientele of personal care stores and convenient stores, clients included A.S. Watson, 7-Eleven, and FamilyMart. She started her career at L'Oréal and has experience with DR.WU (a clinical skincare brand), Blackmores Ltd. (a health supplement company), and most recently at Reckitt Benckiser (a consumer goods company). Wen-Ting joins the IBEAR MBA Program with 5 years of work experience in the tech industry and 3 years with Deloitte. Wen-Ting started as a tax consultant and has comprehensive experience in tax consultations for multinational companies in Taiwan. Wen-Ting has international finance experience, having worked in Shanghai, Tokyo, Taipei, and Czech Republic. She also has a result-driven expertise in finance, tax, accounting, strategy, and has strong analytical and communication skills that inspire cross-functional teams in delivering optimal solutions. She graduated with Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the National Chung Hsing University. Upon completion of the IBEAR MBA Program, she plans to keep growing as finance manager in global tech companies.
Ai-Yun joins the IBEAR MBA Program with 8 years of experience in the news industry, reporting on the latest developments in the financial markets, including but not limited to U.S., Europe, Japan, and South Korea. Ai-Yun is mainly responsible for the education, healthcare, real estate, and travel industries. She also covers the four major subsidiaries of Formosa Plastics Group. She took charge of a 10-person team for a one-year project to help the Cyprus Ministry of Tourism showcase local tourist, culinary, and commercial real estate attractions and to entice investors to the country. Through the series of documercials, she helped bolster local tourism revenue by 15% (to €350MM) and local real estate prices by 2%, as investors flocked in. She received a B.A. in Communications from Michigan State University. Upon completion of her MBA, Ai-Yun intends to pursue a career in the entertainment industry in the U.S.
Emily (Ying-Hsuan) Wu joins the IBEAR MBA program with over 8 years of experience in the agriculture and cloud computing industries. She worked as a thermal engineer and then switched to the hardware field in the cloud computing industry, cooperating with clients such as Facebook, Microsoft, and Twitter to develop their flagship servers. Most recently, she co-founded a Green Daddy Hydro Farm, a greenhouse builder and hydroponics technology developer to provide impressive freshness products at affordable prices. Additionally, Emily is a sports enthusiast, especially for basketball. She produces a podcast and writes a blog related to NBA games. She earned a B.A. in Industrial Engineering, with a minor in Mechanical Engineering, and M.S. in Industrial Engineering from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan. Upon completion of the IBEAR MBA Program, she plans to pursue a career as a product manager or program manager in the sports tech industry.
Phatkanya Arayakittipong joins the IBEAR Program with 10 years of professional experience in the fields of auditing, accounting, and management. She started as an auditor at PwC Thailand, where she provided auditing services to clients in various industries and led audit teams in completing audit procedures. She later became a financial analyst at Siam City Cement Public Company, Thailand's second-largest cement manufacturer. She conducted a five-year financial plan and was a leader in fixed cost planning. In her most recent role at Deutsche Bank as an associate in the Infra-CFO/Regional Finance department, she engaged in regional projects which gave her opportunities to work across cultures. Phatkanya is a licensed CPA in Thailand and holds a Bachelor of Accounting from Chulalongkorn University. Upon completion of the IBEAR MBA program, Phatkanya plans to work as a strategic planner in the Thai Government sector.
Supakorn Cheewasereechol joins the IBEAR MBA Program with almost ten years of work experience in professional services, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and beverage industries. She started her career as an assistant auditor, conducting many projects related to gas separation plant and automotives. Supakorn then moved to be a part of the managerial accounting team, charged with enhancing the financial performance of many consumer products in Thailand. Currently, she manages her family’s rubber trading and real estate company. Supakorn received a Bachelor of Accounting from Thammasat University, Bangkok. Petch Panupattanapong joins the IBEAR MBA Program with seven years of experience in multi-businesses. He served as a lead architect at Architect49 to conduct high-value projects and successfully managed the team to win several design awards. In 2019, he joined Synphaet Hospital Group, his family business, leading the software team to incorporate a digital transformation strategy and upgrade digital-infrastructure solutions such as the COVID-19 vaccination appointment application and HIS platform. He also helped strategize Synphaet’s domestic expansion plan, resulting in seven under-managed hospitals in major provinces of Thailand, which led to the establishment of Synphaet’s subsidiaries, including Senestia, the software house, and Vessu, an architectural design firm, to support Synphaet’s meteoric expansion. He received a Bachelor of Architecture in Architectural Engineering from King Mongkut Institute of Technology. Abram Arredondo joins the IBEAR MBA Program with 13 years of experience in California state government. He was born and raised in California’s San Joaquin Valley and attended Fresno City College. Abram served as a deputy press secretary for California Attorney General (and later governor) Edmund G. Brown, Jr.; speechwriter for the chancellor of the California Community Colleges; and in other public affairs roles. Deciding to try something radically different, he joined the California Conservation Corps to lead, mentor, and train young adults in fighting wildfires, building trails in the state’s backcountry, and restoring habitat for threatened species in Australia. He transferred to UCLA and obtained a Bachelor of Political Science and History. He received Master of Public Policy at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. Upon completion from the IBEAR MBA program, he intends to pursue a career in finance.
Samuel Cheng joins IBEAR with over 8 years of experience in space imaging technology. He is experienced in electro-optical-mechanical systems and material science in vacuum extreme environment applications. Samuel specializes in research and development for deep ultraviolet to near infrared silicon sensor technology, and he has delivered cameras to NASA Mars lander and rover missions. Samuel holds B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California. Vivek joins the IBEAR MBA program with over 12 years of experience in the IT infrastructure engineering and operations sectors. His most recent role was at Disney Streaming where he was responsible for designing and optimizing global data centers for the fast-growing Disney+ service. His previous roles have been with Oracle and Comcast in Denver, Colorado and the Canadian National Railway in Montreal, Canada. Vivek has delivered critical projects, improved the performance of applications, resolved mission critical operational blockers and led the introduction of new technologies into production (i.e., “going live”). Vivek has a Master of Electrical and Computer Engineering from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada and a Bachelor of Electronics Engineering from Assumption University of Thailand. Vivek plans to pivot to a business role within the tech industry post-graduation.
