The Graduate Certificate in Strategy and Management Consulting is best suited to individuals who have considerable work experience in their field of expertise and are ready to become a source of guidance to others in strategic planning and management.
The program provides students with the tools, concepts and frameworks that will aid them in leading the process of strategy development and management consulting to improve business performance. Evidence based frameworks and hands-on projects will enhance students’ skill sets in diagnosing strategic issues in complex settings. Different types of intervention strategies and contingency frameworks will provide students with an extensive and robust toolkit that can be applied in multiple industry settings.
The certificate can be completed either full-time or part-time. Most classes applicable to the program are offered during both daytime and evening hours. Part-time students can take one or two courses per semester and complete the certificate while working. International students not concurrently completing a graduate degree at USC must complete the certificate in two semesters or less.
