Yanyan Li is a Ph.D. Candidate in Quantitative Marketing at Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California. She is on the academic job market in 2024-2025.

Yanyan's research applies tools from structural econometrics, Bayesian statistics, machine learning and causal inference to study the individual, social, and policy issues in digital marketing, with a focus on consumer privacy, digital advertising, network experiments, and platform analytics.

Yanyan's dissertation has received the MSI A.G. Clayton Dissertation Proposal Competition Honorable Mention. She has published papers at Journal of Marketing and Journal of Consumer Research.
