What made you choose to attend USC Marshall?
There is no better place in the world to study Business and Spanish than right here in Los Angeles. With a desire to focus on international business and social entrepreneurship, Marshall was the perfect choice for me. Los Angeles is a melting pot of businesses, cultures, and people, and having the opportunity to live and study in such a place is a dream come true.
Advice you wish you had known while applying to college:
Be authentic. Be yourself. There are so many kids out there who apply to college and try to make themselves seem like the best applicant in the world. By being yourself, your essays will be much more authentic and you will ultimately end up at the place that suits you the best in the long run.
USC activities/general hobbies:
Hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, anything outdoors, swimming, LA Dodgers baseball, USC Football
Why do you love Los Angeles?
I love Los Angeles because it is a melting pot of businesses, activities, cultures, and people. There are so many diverse things to do and people to meet here that you will never be bored!
What global experiences have you had in college?
I had the opportunity to travel to Santiago, Chile for nine days through the LINC program here in Marshall. Also, I had the opportunity to live and work in Madrid, Spain this past summer for two months through the Marshall Winslow-Maxwell Global Internship Program.
What internship/employment opportunities have you taken advantage of at Marshall?
I had the opportunity to go abroad to Madrid, Spain this past summer through the Winslow-Maxwell Global Internship Program, where I got to live and work for two months.
