Tanakorn Makaew is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance and Business Economics. He specializes in corporate finance, international finance, banking, and computational economics. His research has been published in the Journal of Financial Economics and the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. Prior to joining USC, he was a financial economist at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of South Carolina. At Marshall, he teaches graduate-level Investments and Corporate Finance.
