Steve has taught as adjunct faculty at USC’s Marshall School of Business since 2013 and is a board member of the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate and the YMCA Metropolitan District. Steve also serves as a Policy Advisory Board Member for the UC Berkeley Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics and is active with the Union Rescue Mission. He and his wife, Sue, have two children, John and Natalie. The whole family are USC graduates.

In addition, Steve is a Managing Director of the Real Estate Investment Banking Firm Eastdil Secured. He specializes in arranging major sales and joint ventures for large institutional owners of office and logistics properties globally. During his tenure, Steve has been involved with some of the most significant real estate transactions in the United States, Europe and Australia and has completed over $200 billion in logistics transactions in the past five years. Eastdil Secured is also the largest independent commercial real estate investment bank in the world by transaction volume with over $2.7 trillion in transactions completed over the past 15 years.
