About Me
Hi! My name is Rohan Patel, and I’m from Paris, France. Outside of class, I enjoy spending my time playing tennis and basketball, and I am an endurance hiker who loves outdoor adventures. I’m truly excited about how AI can be used in creative ways to improve how businesses work, whether that’s helping teams make better decisions, grow more efficiently, or build products people actually need. I’ve explored this through internships in investment banking and sports analytics, and I’m eager to learn more through the BUAI program. Long term, I hope to keep working at the intersection of tech and business to help build smarter, more impactful solutions.

...AI's capabilities are evolving so rapidly that many of the roles I'll pursue in my career might not even exist yet, and that future uncertainty is what truly excites my curiosity and passion for the field.

What are some of your projects or achievements?
Self-launched: Assisty (iOS App; 2022 – Present)
A Swift-based productivity app I’ve been developing since 2022 that uses AI and NLP to help users streamline time management. The app intelligently reschedules tasks and events based on changing priorities (like a dynamic calendar engine) allowing users to offload the mental burden of when to do what. Inspired by the problem I set out to solve well before similar tools like Motion emerged in 2024.
Internship: Bank of Ireland – Investment Banking [Summer Analyst] (June 2023, & Return Offer Summer 2025)
Developed a Python-based GUI tool that embedded a private agent to help analysts generate 2-pager notes and perform buy vs. sell-side diligence comparisons more efficiently. This solution reduced manual formatting and research time, supporting faster, higher-quality client output.
Internship: ReSpo.Vision – Sports AI Startup [AI/ML Ops Intern] (June 2024 - April 2025)
Worked with the CTO/CEO of a Warsaw-based computer vision startup focused on 3D football (soccer) tracking and analytics. Led the automation of training data annotation for their proprietary single-camera 3D tracking pipeline, helping scale a manual step critical to model accuracy. The project supported their mission of building a mobile-friendly, FIFA-like 3D sports experience, distinguishing them from competitors that require multi-angle, fixed-camera setups.
