What surprised you most about Marshall?
How talented and amazing all of my fellow students are. Marshall is extremely diverse both culturally and professionally with a broad breath of knowledge and experience. The students also form a tight knit community where everyone is extremely supportive and eager to help. There is nothing that this class can’t do!

What do you wish you'd known before attending business school?
How quickly recruiting starts. I would recommend having a strong idea of your intended career path and a solid understanding of which companies recruit from Marshall. Business school starts at full speed so I would recommend coming to the first day of class fully prepared. I would also recommend living close to campus – it will make your life much easier.

What leadership positions do you hold at Marshall?

What is your favorite USC Marshall experience:
As part of the Consortium, I had to opportunity to attend their orientation program in Huston. This was an intense, hands-on experience that gave me valuable career development advice and unparalleled networking opportunities. This was also a great way to meet my fellow Consortium members and form amazing friendships.

Contemporary Issues in Competitive Strategy with Professor Peer Fiss. The class also involved many case discussions which fostered a collaborative environment between students.

Why did you choose Marshall?
The Trojan Network. Throughout my application process I began to sense how everyone affiliated with this university was so kind, supportive, and willing to go above and beyond. The Trojan Network is so strong, and it is truly special to be a part of this remarkable community. It also helps that Marshall is located in Los Angeles, which is a diverse, fun and beautiful city.
