At Carbon, he served as the Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer, where he led the company's launch at TED 2015, scaled the team from 12 to 100 employees, created an innovative subscription-based business model, and helped raise $100M at a $1B valuation.
As the VP of Worldwide Product Marketing at Apple, Rob oversaw a 500% increase in revenue growth in the applications division over six years, collaborated closely with Steve Jobs on high-profile launches, and drove a tenfold expansion of Apple’s internet subscription services, laying the groundwork for Apple's services strategy.
At Microsoft, Rob led a 50-person team to establish Windows NT and BackOffice in the enterprise. He also relaunched WebTV as MSNTV to align with Microsoft’s broader Internet strategy post-acquisition and guided the development of the innovative UltimateTV satellite DVR.
