About Me
Hi, I’m Riley Cox, a current junior in AI for Business. After publishing research on the ethics of AI in lower education, I discovered a passion for harnessing AI as a force for good. What began as an interest in psychology and AI has evolved into a deeper focus on the intersection of AI and healthcare. I’m especially drawn to roles in data science and product management that allow me to explore and shape this space. In my free time, you can find me hiking, cooking, adding more travel spots to my bucket list, and writing!

What are some of your key professional/career interests?
My current professional interests lie at the intersection of artificial intelligence and healthcare. I am particularly passionate about leveraging AI to reduce hospital costs for patients, enhance diagnostic accuracy through pattern recognition in medical imaging, and drive smarter decision-making with predictive analytics. I'm also deeply interested in how advancements in wearables and real-time health tracking can elevate the quality of direct patient care and support more personalized, proactive treatment approaches.

What are some of your projects or achievements?
Internships:

This summer, I worked as a Product Growth Intern for the sports-tech start-up REMAKER. I developed a CRM and iterative cycle to feed customer feedback into engineering updates, led a website redesign to support the shift from B2B to B2C, and assisted with the implementation of AI in various app features.

Last summer, I worked as a Go-To-Market Intern for the cybersecurity start-up Adaptive Security. I developed visual material for founder sales pitches using Figma, ElevenLabs, and HeyGen AI. I also assisted in sales outreach and data-driven industry research.

Lab Work:

Research Assistant @ USC Radiomics Lab focusing on cost-effectiveness of radiomics for ccRCC, Research Assistant for agentic AI use cases in hospital operations & workflow, published Research Assistant @ UCSD Social Cognitive Development Lab in AI ethics for education systems
