Park Cofield

Park Cofield (he/him) is the Assistant Director of the Brittingham Social Enterprise Lab (BSEL) at the USC Marshall School of Business, a Center of Excellence dedicated to equipping students, faculty, and staff with the business skills and resources to address the most pressing challenges of the 21st century. In this role, Park supports a diverse student population across undergraduate and graduate levels, fostering social impact entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship through mentorship, community building, and hands-on experiential learning opportunities.

With a background in human-centered community building and strategy consulting, Park loves to design participatory spaces for conversation and creative engagement, especially with underrepresented communities. He brings over a decade of experience in place-based economic development and has worked with national and regional partners to design stakeholder-driven solutions and partnerships to achieve a variety of impact-related goals. He especially loves to help founders in the earliest phases of the startup journey. 

Prior to joining BSEL, Park served as Program Manager at Alive Ventures, where he co-launched and scaled nine new businesses focused on the needs of older adults, and facilitated hundreds of hours of co-design conversations with a community of 500+ people.

His expertise and interests include user research, landscape analysis, product ideation, early launch strategies, social impact measurement, rapid prototyping, and the development of inclusive engagement methods, which he honed from years of work as a community-based theater maker.

Park holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies from Emerson College and a Master of Science in Social Entrepreneurship from USC Marshall School of Business (Cohort 4).
