Pablo Estua Carrillo

About Me

Hi, my name is Pablo Estua Carrillo, and I'm a freshman undergraduate student in the Marshall School of Business! I'm from Tenafly, New Jersey, across the country from USC. However, I was born in London, England, and my family comes from Mexico and Spain, which means I speak Spanish at home. I also speak French because I lived in Geneva, Switzerland, from the ages of one to nine years old. I consider myself a very hardworking, ambitious, and dynamic person, and I'm super excited to be a part of the BUAI program, learning how to apply the innovation of AI to the business world, for the next four years of my life. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and friends, listen to rap, house, and jazz music, watch TV shows and movies, and build legos.

What are some of your key professional/career interests?

A few of my key professional/career interests are developing my own AI software that revolutionizes the dynamics of the business world. Through this goal of mine, I plan to become an entrepreneur and start my own firm, possibly my own FinTech.

What are some of your skills?

I'm a very versatile and dynamic person, which means that I tend to be very good at many different things. I also believe that organization is the key to success, which means that I constantly maintain my work and workspace organized and clean. Lastly, I speak three languages and am a very social and outgoing person, which means I'm very good at making connections with new people.

What are some relevant classes/coursework you have taken?

During my four years of high school, I took many AP and Honors courses. I also studied at Brown University and Columbia University for their respective pre-college programs. Lastly, I studied abroad in Paris, France, during one summer as part of the CIEE French cultural and language immersion program.
