What made you choose to attend USC Marshall?
USC was the first university I ever visited, and I was immediately blown away by the Trojan Pride I witnessed. It was clear that the students loved their school, and all USC alumni I encountered raved about their "Trojan Family." Ultimately, I chose USC to be part of the unique World Bachelor in Business program. I wanted an immersive international university experience, so I was excited to learn of USC Marshall partnership with HKUST and Bocconi University to form a innovative global business undergraduate program that provides students with the incredible to explore the diverse business environments of three distinct regions.

Advice you wish you had known while applying to college:
Don't try to be somebody you are not when you are writing your application essays. Stay true to your passions and your personality during the application process. The essays should feel honest and natural to you--it is easy to overthink your application, but don't lose confidence in yourself!

USC activities/general hobbies:
Aside from working as a Marshall Student Ambassador, I am member of a women's professional development organization called Marshall Women's Leadership Board. I am also a part of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. I am a huge fan of film and television and I love attending screenings presented by USC's cinema school. I also enjoy hiking/backpacking and exploring Los Angeles!

Why do you love Los Angeles?
Los Angeles is an incredibly diverse setting from people, to industry, to culture--it has been so fun exploring unique areas of this city. There is always something to see, always a new restaurant to try, always a new shop to check out.

What global experiences have you had in college?
I am a part of the World Bachelor in Business Program, so the past 3 years have been a whirlwind of international experiences. As a freshman, I was part of a Global Social Impact trip which provided me the opportunity to work with a NGO in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. As a sophomore, I spent a year living in Hong Kong attending HKUST. Here I had that chance to travel throughout Asia and learn about the different business dynamics across the region. As a junior, I spent the year living in Milan, Italy attending Bocconi University. Being located in Milan--Italy's hub of commerce--provided fantastic exposure to iconic Italian companies and industry.

What internship/employment opportunities have you taken advantage of at Marshall?
Over the last three summers, I have been exploring the industry with internships at entertainment companies including Warner Bros, Discovery, and a independent film production company. Through these internships, I have had the opportunity to work across multiple business functions from marketing to sales to finance. These experiences have exposed me to the exciting and dynamic nature of the industry particularly with emerging digital technology.

Favorite USC Marshall class:
As a WBB student, I took part in a Global Social Impact class that allowed me to work with a NGO located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Through this class, my team and I worked closely with our project partners in Brazil in order to help them develop a social business model for a new ecotourism project. We then traveled to Brazil to met with our partners in person in order further understand the needs of their organization. We concluded our trip by presenting our findings and recommendations to the leaders of our partner projects. It was a challenging yet rewarding experience that highlighted the importance of social entrepreneurship.
