USC Marshall Welcomes 21 New Faculty
These faculty bring their varied expertise into the classroom, with a mix of academia, research, and real-world experience.
Dr. Nik Lewis specializes in emotional intelligence, organizational behavior, and leadership development. Her research focuses on the role of emotional intelligence skills in helping leaders build successful teams. Her work draws on several years of experience managing cross-functional research and development teams in the public sector. She primarily teaches organizational behavior along with a personally-developed elective on emotional intelligence in leadership. Previously, she has taught business ethics, strategic management, and communication courses. Her doctoral degree is in organizational behavior and was earned through Grenoble School of Management located in Southern France. She regularly consults with companies of all sizes, from startups to large enterprises, helping executives navigate the complex human dynamics of leadership and develop actionable solutions. While a native of Southern California, she has collaborated with stakeholders across many countries in her practitioner and academic roles.
