About Me

Hi there! My name is Nicole Amer and I was born and raised in Glendora, California (home to the Donut Man). In my spare time I enjoy reading, baking, playing the violin, and photography! I also love spending time with my friends and family by going on adventures like hiking, traveling and exploring new cities, or even just trying a new restaurant. I'm always curious to try and learn new things which was piqued my interest in this major. Having no prior knowledge in coding, being able to challenge myself this last year has been an amazing experience!

What are some of your key professional/career interests?

I'm interested in how AI has and will continue to impact and create innovation in businesses and different industries. Consulting, Project Management, and Analytics are some areas of interest to me.

What are some of your skills?

I am fluent in Spanish and have experience using platforms like QuickBooks, Excel, and Canva from my previous work experience. Through this I have gained valuable skills such as organizational skills, time management, communication, and leadership.

R for Data Science and Statistics, MicroEconomics, MacroEconomics, SQL, C++, and Python

What are some of your projects or achievements?

Over the summer, I created and designed my own website!
