What surprised you most about Marshall?
The students. Specifically, how friendly, amazing, and accomplished everyone was. You hear about one Marshall or the Trojan family but until you experience it you don't actually know what it means. Everyone was interested in helping each other out.
What do you wish you'd known before attending business school?
How quickly everything was going to start happening and how much to take on. I think I just took things as they came instead of getting ahead on certain things earlier on to reduce some of the stress of recruiting while taking classes and being involved in clubs. You can't do everything and you have to be very mindful about which things you get involved in, especially during first semester when you're recruiting for something like investment banking.
What leadership positions do you hold at Marshall?
AVP of Investment Banking - Marshall Finance Association, AVP of Fundraising, Challenge 4 Charity, Marshall MBA Ambassador
What is your favorite USC Marshall experience?
First day of orientation. I was so excited and felt truly honored to be here. It was both the culmination of all of the hard work that I had put in to get to business school as well as the start of the rest of my life. The entire introduction and words from Dean Gareth and other faculty were inspiring to the point of goosebumps.
What is your favoriate Favorite USC Marshall core class:
Corporate Finance. Being able to learn from Dean Ku during Term 2 was such a great experience because she is truly passionate about finance. In addition, the content is extremely relevant to my career, so I was very engaged and eager to learn more.
Which clubs are you involved in?
Marshall Finance Association, Challenge 4 Charity, Marshall Interactive Gaming Club, Marshall Wine Club, Affinity Pass
