Interview: Marco Aponte-Moreno on KCBS-AM Los Angeles

Professor Aponte-Moreno specializes in leadership development, strategic management, and cross-cultural negotiations. He teaches both MBA and undergraduate courses. His interdisciplinary research explores how the arts, particularly theater and improvisation, can contribute to the development of leadership skills. His work draws on his professional background in international business as well as more than two decades of theater experience.
Before joining academia, he worked in global corporate finance for international firms including Crédit Lyonnais (France), Mizuho (Japan), and ED&F Mann (UK). Originally from Venezuela, he has lived and worked in the United States, France, and the United Kingdom, and has traveled to more than forty countries. He has received multiple honors for teaching and mentorship, including the Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching, the Golden Apple Award for Mentoring, the Marshall Excellence in Teaching Award, and the Management and Organization Department Teaching Award.
