What surprised you most about Marshall?
You are going to hear this a lot, but it’s the Trojan Network. I expected school pride and community to be pretty high coming in, but the Trojan Network is amazing. Just being a USC student gets you a foot in the door and any USC alum, from Marshall or any other program, will answer an email or phone call.

What do you wish you'd known before attending business school?
Realize that the decision to go to business school is both personal and professional. Learn to be adaptable and take everything in stride. While you are getting an MBA to further your career, you are still a person and business school is a growth opportunity for you personally as well. Don’t lose sight of that during the application process and once you get into school, no matter where you go.

What leadership positions do you hold at Marshall?
Portfolio Manager - USC Marshall Student Investment Fund (SIF), Alumni Relations Lead - Marshall Leadership Fellows Program (MLFP), VP of 4th Charity Outreach - Challenge 4 Charity (C4C), Marshall MBA Ambassador

What is your favorite USC Marshall experience:
Representing USC at the National Deloitte Supply Chain Case Competition. It was great experience flying cross country to solve a business problem and present to a real client with less than 24 hours to craft our solution. Oh, and also the tailgates.

What is your favorite USC Marshall core class:
Corporate Finance with Scott Abrams

Which clubs are you involved in?
Marshall Consulting & Strategy Club, Jewish Association of Marshall Students, Marshall Finance Association, Entrepreneurship & Venture Management Association

Core:
A

Why did you choose Marshall?
Community and location were the number one factors for me when looking for schools. I had always wanted to move to Los Angeles, so Marshall checked that box. In addition, the size of the school was appealing. With just over 200 students, I knew that I would be able to know most of my class pretty quickly and create the community that I was looking for. When I visited, the ambassadors from the grade above me made me feel a part of the Trojan family even before I enrolled. That was a true difference maker for me.
