Kevin Fields

Kevin C. Fields is a Professor of Clinical Finance and Business Economics at the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate school courses on business and real estate law. He is also the academic director for the Master in Business for Veterans (MBV) program at the university. He has received several teaching awards at the university including: Dean's Award for Teaching Excellence (2023), several Golden Apple Teaching Awards (2013, 2017, 2019, and 2022), and the Gamma Sigma Alpha Professor of the Year award (2012)

Professor Fields, when not teaching, is a practicing attorney specializing in business and construction-related disputes. Through his practice, he has tried many cases in state and federal courts and has tried all forms of alternative dispute resolution techniques to resolve cases. He is an AV Preeminent rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell. He is also a California licensed real estate broker.

Professor Fields is a co-author of four textbooks through Aspen Publishing (a subsidiary of Wolters Kluwer) including: Essentials of Real Estate Law, Second Edition (2023); Contemporary Real Estate Law, Third Edition (2023); The Legal Environment of Business (2022), and Contemporary Business Law (2021).
