Kevin C. Fields is an Associate Professor of Clinical Finance and Business Economics at the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate school courses on business and real estate law. He is also the academic director for the Master in Business for Veterans program at the university.

Professor Fields, when not teaching, is a practicing attorney specializing in business and construction-related disputes. Through his practice, he has tried many cases in state and federal courts and has tried all forms of alternative dispute resolution techniques to resolve cases. He is a California licensed real estate broker. He has received several Golden Apple teaching awards as well as being named the Professor of the Year by Gamma Sigma Alpha (the National Academic Greek Honor society). He is an AV Preeminent rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell. 

Professor Fields is a co-author of four business law and real estate law texts: Contemporary Real Estate Law Third Edition; Contemporary Business Law; The Legal Environment of Business; and Essentials of Real Estate Law, Second Edition. The textbooks are published by Aspen Publishing, a subsidiary of Wolters Kluwer.
