Kathleen Reardon

Kathleen Kelley Reardon, Professor of Management and Organization in the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business has served on the faculty of the MBA, Executive MBA International MBA Programs and the faculty of Preventive Medicine. She is a leading authority on persuasion, politics in the workplace, negotiation, health and interpersonal communication. She is the author of seven books and numerous articles published in communication and business journals, including the Harvard Business Review reprint “Bestseller” case The Memo Every Woman Keeps in Her Desk and the book following from that, They Don’t Get it, Do They? Communication in the Workplace - Closing the Gap Between Women and Men. The Secret Handshake: Mastering the Politics of the Business Inner Circle released in early 2001, rapidly became a business best seller in the United States. She published It’s All Politics and The Skilled Negotiator (Doubleday and Jossey-Bass/Wiley) and in 2007 wrote Courage As A Skill published in The Harvard Business Review. She is co-author of Childhood Denied released in 2009 as part of her philanthropic work to better the lives of children at risk.
