Jonathan Gomez is an Assistant Professor of Data Sciences and Operations at the Marshall School of Business of the University of Southern California. `His research critically examines controversial technologies and policies including content moderation, artificial intelligence, and privacy preserving technologies with an emphasis on their unintended consequences for historically marginalized communities and organizations. The impact of Jonathan's research has been recognized with the INFORMS DEI Best Student Paper Award and as runner up for the Nunamaker-Chen Dissertation Award and the WISE Best Student Paper Award.
