About Me

Hi I'm Jethro! I'm from Hong Kong and love working with tech. I have had an interest in tech and programming since I was 14 and explored software engineering, data science, machine learning, and lots in between. I always wanted to use tech to make a meaningful difference in people's lives so BUAI was a perfect fit. Outside of tech, I love watching and playing tennis, cars (motorsports, sim racing, F1), and cooking new dishes from all sorts of cuisines.

What are some of your key professional/career interests?

My professional interests lie in the safe development of powerful AI applications. In the short term, I'm interested in exploring software engineering and data scientist roles to learn from the best in industry. Looking ahead, I'm looking to work in machine learning engineering so that I can be involved in the frontier of technology and have a hand in shaping AI development in ethical and safe ways. I also have an interest in entrepreneurship and building powerful and responsible AI models.

Lotus – Built an agentic Web3 research engine for regulation, BD, and news analysis. Generated $30K ARR.
Data Science Intern @ Web3 VC – Built data pipelines for platforms with ~80M users
Data Engineering Intern @ Hedge fund – Built an NLP pipeline for Bloomberg equity research
