Jacob W. Roberson

  • PhD Candidate in Management and Organization

Current 4th Year OB PhD Candidate interested in race, DEI, psychological entitlement, and generational and cultural differences in the workplace.

Broadly, my work helps to highlight the nuances in popular theories and phenomena when applied to diverse groups and contexts.

  • Theoretically, I explore how identity and cultural narratives uniquely shape traits and outcomes (such as psychological entitlement, perceived discrimination, or work expectations) for different groups.

  • Empirically, I use said theory to examine the downstream consequences of the divergent manifestations or embodiments of these traits and phenomena.
